Can I use metal utensils or aluminum foil inside the microwave?

Metal containers or dishes with metallic trim should not be used in the microwave as they can cause sparks and fires. Limited use of narrow strips of non-perforated aluminum foil is allowed but keep a distance of 2.54cm from cavity walls. (Page 7)
