What causes high levels of TDS in my purified water?

Higher than normal TDS readings could be due to low water pressure, inlet water with very high initial TDS or chemical compounds, clogged pre-filters not being replaced timely. Disconnect yellow tube and test without tank input can diagnose source issue.
