How do I clean the canister of my Aprilaire steam humidifier?
Shut off power and let the unit cool. Remove front door, disconnect wires and hoses, insert new O-ring into drain assembly groove dampened with water but no other lubricant, reinstall canister with caution label outward. Reconnect everything and turn on humidifier (Page 23).
