How do I install an M.2 SSD on the ROG Strix B450-F Gaming, and are there any slot limitations I should know about?

The motherboard has two M.2 sockets: M.2_1 supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA mode for type 2242/2260/2280 devices, while M.2_2 supports PCIe 3.0 x4 mode only for type 2242/2260/2280/22110 devices (for Ryzen 1st/2nd Generation processors). Be aware that when M.2_1 is operating in SATA or PCIe mode, SATA6G_5/6 ports will be disabled, and when M.2_2 is occupied, the PCIe x16_1 slot will run at x8 mode instead of x16. The M.2_2 socket is not supported for AMD Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics processors. (Page 1-14)
