Is it normal for steam or water droplets to appear while the oven is in use?

Yes, steam emanating during operation is normal and is not an error. Water droplets appearing during cooking are also normal — steam generated during cooking condenses when it contacts cooler surfaces outside the product. Similarly, metal sounds heard while the product warms up or cools down are caused by metal parts expanding with heat and are not an error. (Page 35)
