What causes the temperature alarm and how do I fix it?

The temperature alarm sounds when the freezer compartment becomes too warm, indicated by the set temperature and alarm symbol flashing. Causes include: appliance just switched on (wait for it to reach set temperature), large quantities of fresh food placed inside (switch on Super freezing), or the door left open too long (check if food has defrosted).
