How do I clean the appliance safely, and what cleaning products should I avoid?

Clean the inside, outside, fittings, accessories, and door seals with a dish cloth, lukewarm water, and a little pH-neutral detergent, then dry thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use hard scouring pads, strong or abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning agents with high alcohol content, stainless-steel cleaning agents on the exterior, steam cleaners, or high-pressure cleaners. Fittings and accessories should never be cleaned in the dishwasher as this may cause deformation or discoloration. (Page 19–20)
