What is Sabbath mode and how do I enable it?

Sabbath mode switches off all non-essential functions including alarms, lighting, ice production, and audible signals to allow use on the Sabbath. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until an audible signal sounds to switch it on. After approximately 80 hours, the appliance automatically returns to normal mode.
