Why is my dishwasher not cleaning dishes well?

Several factors could cause poor cleaning: spray arm nozzles may be clogged or spray arm movement may be obstructed, the filter system could be clogged, or you may be using an incorrect amount of detergent for your water hardness. Additionally, dishes that are nested or loaded too close together won't get cleaned properly. Finally, you may have selected a wash cycle that is not suitable for your soil conditions.
