How do I add detergent to my dishwasher?

Use 1 tablespoon (15ml) of dishwasher-specific detergent for most loads, measured using the lines in the detergent dispenser cup. Do not exceed 3 tablespoons (45ml) and avoid overfilling. If using detergent tabs, lay them flat to avoid contact with the cover, then close the dispenser by placing your finger as shown and sliding the door closed firmly until it clicks.
