What should I do if there's an odor coming from my dishwasher?

Odor can result from food debris at the bottom of the dishwasher, food particles near the door seal, dishes left in the unit too long before running a cycle, or residual water at the bottom. Remove and clean the filters, clean the door gasket, and ensure the unit has completely drained. If odor persists, run a Normal cycle, interrupt it, place an 8oz. cup of distilled white vinegar on the top rack, and finish the cycle.
