Why is my freezer compartment temperature alarm going off?

The temperature alarm (intermittent signal) switches on if the freezer compartment becomes too warm. The alarm may occur without risk to frozen food if the appliance is switching on, large quantities of fresh food are being added, or the freezer compartment door has been open too long. Press the alarm button to switch off the warning signal and see the warmest temperature reached.
