What should I do if the charger switches to standby mode?
The charger switches to standby mode when abnormal conditions arise, such as battery voltage below 6 V for 12 V batteries, an open circuit, or reversed polarity. Check that the clamps are properly connected to the correct terminals and that the battery voltage is adequate before restarting.
