How do I prevent unintentional operation of the dishwasher?

Your dishwasher has a built-in protection function: after pressing Start, you must close the door within 4 seconds or the operation will pause. If the door remains open more than 4 seconds, you'll need to press the Start button again and close the door. This function cannot be deactivated. (Page 30)
