What detergent amount should I use for different water conditions?

For soft water with light soil, use 1 to 1.75 tablespoons (15-25 ml) of detergent. For medium water with medium soil, use 1.75 tablespoons (25 ml). For hard water with heavy soil, use 3 tablespoons (45 ml). With soft water, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) will clean most loads. The detergent dispenser has measuring lines at 15 ml and 25 ml. (Page 24)
