How do I clean the dishwasher filters?

Unscrew the Large Object Trap and remove the entire filter system. Remove any residue and rinse the filters under running water—do not use abrasive brushes or steel wool as they may damage the filters. Reinstall the filter system in reverse sequence and lock into place by screwing the Large Object Trap until the marking arrows align. Clean filters 3-6 times yearly if you rinse before loading, 4-12 times if you only scrape, and 12 times yearly if you have hard water.
