What should I do before washing my first load of laundry?

Run a Drum Clean cycle with no laundry to clean the system before your first load, as a small amount of water may remain in the tub and drainage system from factory testing. First add 1 to 2 tablespoons of detergent to the main-wash chamber II, then run the Drum Clean cycle and wait for it to finish. (Page 20)
