How do I level the washing machine properly?

Install the washer on a level and solid surface, preferably in a corner, and use a bubble level to check that the top is level side to side and front to rear. Adjust the washer feet as needed without placing anything under them, and press down on each corner to ensure there is no wobbling and all four feet press equally against the floor. Lock the feet in place by tightening the locknuts against the washer bottom. (Page 19)
