What should I do if the appliance door cannot be opened after a power outage?

In the event of a power outage, first press the power button and pull out the mains plug, then open the service flap and drain the water following the drain pump procedure. After draining, pull the emergency release downward with a tool and release it to open the door. Do not attempt to open the door if water is visible through the glass, as escaping water may cause water damage. (Page 47)
