What should I do before using the WVG30460ME for the very first time?

Before first use, run the Drum Clean programme without any laundry to remove residual test water from the factory inspection. Select the Drum Clean Û 40°C programme, pour approximately 1 litre of water into dispenser II, and add standard detergent according to manufacturer's instructions for light soiling. Use only half the recommended detergent amount to prevent frothing, and do not use woollens or mild detergents. (Page 43)
