What should I do if the drain pump is blocked?

Turn off the tap, switch off the appliance and pull out the mains plug, then open and remove the service flap. Take the drain hose out of the retainer, remove the sealing cap and pour water into a container, then carefully unscrew the pump cover and clean the interior, pump-cover thread, and pump housing, ensuring the impeller can rotate freely. Refit and tighten the pump cover with the handle in a vertical position, and reattach the service flap. (Page 29)
