What should I do if I receive a 'There was an error writing to LPT1' error message?

Check that the printer is turned on, the front cover is fully closed, there is paper in the paper cassette or manual feed slot, the power plug is connected correctly, and the printer cable is connected securely and not damaged or broken. Also verify that you have not selected another printer through an interface switching device. (Page 16)
