How do I load paper into the HL-1650?

Pull the paper cassette completely out of the printer. While pressing the paper guide release lever, slide the adjusters to fit your paper size and check they fit correctly into the slots. Load paper into the cassette, ensuring it is flat in the tray and below the maximum paper mark. For Legal or 8.5 x 13 inch paper, press the universal guide release lever as you extend the rear of the paper cassette. Then re-install the cassette and close the front cover.
