What power source should I use, and are extension cords allowed?

Use only regular household electricity for the power source, and only the power cord included with the machine. Do not use extension cords or multi-plug adapters, as fire or electric shock may result. Plug the machine directly into the electrical outlet, and do not connect it to a DC power source or inverter.
