How should I store my sewing machine to prevent damage?

Do not store the machine in locations with extremely high or low temperatures, extreme temperature changes, high humidity or steam, near a flame or heater, outdoors or in direct sunlight, or in extremely dusty or oily environments. These conditions can cause rust from condensation and other damage to the machine. Additionally, periodically turn on and use the machine to maintain its efficiency.
