What should I do if the sewing machine is not working properly or has been damaged?

Never operate the machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, or has had water spilled on it. Return the machine to the nearest authorized Brother dealer or service center for examination, repair, or mechanical adjustment. If the light unit (light-emitting diode) is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized Brother Service Center.
