Where is it safe to install a rear-facing child restraint in the Lucerne?
Rear-facing child restraints should always be secured in a rear seat — never in the front seat. A label on the sun visor states 'Never put a rear-facing child seat in the front' because the risk to the child is very high if the airbag deploys. Even though the passenger sensing system may turn off the right front passenger's airbag, no system is fail-safe. (Page 53–54)
