Turn off the power to all devices, cover the objective lens with the objective lens cap, and place the dust cover over the CR-2 AF. The power plug should also be unplugged from the AC outlet, as leaving the device plugged in for a long time in a dusty or humid environment may cause insulation failure and result in a fire.
