How do I properly turn off the main power before servicing?

First turn OFF the main power switch of the host machine, then wait until all blinking on the Control Panel disappears before disconnecting the power plug. Do not disconnect the power plug without first turning OFF the main power, as this may cause damage to the machine. Failure to disconnect the power plug before servicing may cause electrical shock.
