What does it mean if the vehicle alarm honks three times when I press the Unlock button on my RKE transmitter?

If the horn chirps three times when you press the Unlock (K) button on the RKE transmitter, it means an alarm occurred previously while the alarm system was armed, indicating a tamper condition. If the alarm has been activated, a message will also appear on the Driver Information Center (DIC). (Page 49)
