What happens if I leave my vehicle unattended with the keys inside?

Leaving children in a vehicle with an ignition key or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is dangerous and could result in serious injury or death. Always remove keys when leaving a child unattended inside the vehicle to prevent accidental operation of power windows or controls. See Keys on page 2-1.
