How long will the remote start engine run, and can I extend it?

The engine will automatically shut off after 15 minutes when started via remote start. You can extend the run time by an additional 15 minutes (for a total of 30 minutes) by repeating the remote start procedure while the engine is still running, at least 30 seconds after the initial start. A maximum of two remote starts or one remote start with one extension are allowed between ignition cycles; after that, the ignition must be turned on and back off before remote start can be used again.
