What should I do if the passenger airbag 'on' indicator stays lit after installing a child restraint in the front seat?

Turn the vehicle off, remove the child restraint, and reinstall it. If the 'on' indicator is still lit after reinstalling and restarting, check that the vehicle's seatback is not pressing the child restraint into the seat cushion, and that the child restraint is not trapped under the head restraint. If the indicator remains lit, secure the child in a rear seat and check with your dealer. (Page 84)
