How do I replace the laser guide batteries?

First, unplug the miter saw to prevent accidental starting. Remove the locking screw on the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver, open the cover, and insert two AAA 1.5-volt batteries according to the diagram inside. Replace the battery cover and tighten the locking screw securely. (Page 13)
