What is the difference between HI and LO speed settings on the two-speed gear train?

When using the drill in LO (1) speed, speed decreases but the unit has more power and torque. When using HI (2) speed, speed increases but the unit has less power and torque. Use LO speed for high power and torque applications and HI speed for fast drilling or driving applications. (Page 10)
