How do I safely clear a clogged chute assembly?

Shut the engine OFF immediately and disconnect the spark plug wire. Wait 10 seconds to be sure the impeller blades have stopped rotating. Always use a clean-out tool, not your hands, to clear the chute. Never put your hand in the discharge or collector openings.
