How do I lock and unlock the keyboard to prevent accidental changes?

To lock the keyboard, press and hold the up and down arrow keys together for more than 3 seconds until the 'OF' message is displayed. To unlock, press and hold the same two keys together for more than 3 seconds until the 'On' message is displayed. (Page 2)
