How should histopathology samples be prepared before submission?
Each histopathology sample must immediately be placed in a tightly secured container with 10% neutral buffered formalin, totally immersed to prevent drying. Containers are labeled directly and the test requisition form is completed by the referring doctor or clinician (Page 17).
