Can I wash the bin in the dishwasher or use cleaning products on it?

Your bin is not dishwasher safe. Only use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean your bin, and make sure the bin and seals are completely dry before replacing. The use of detergents, polishes, or air fresheners to clean your bin is not recommended, as it may damage your machine. (Page 7)
