My machine won't operate or charge — what could be wrong?

Your machine won't operate or charge if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F), as this is designed to protect both the motor and battery. Make sure you are using the machine in a sufficiently warm environment. If the battery is empty, a red warning icon will appear on the screen indicating it needs charging. (Pages 6, 14)
