When should I empty the bin and how do I do it?

Empty the bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level — do not overfill, as this may affect performance, require more frequent filter washing, and could result in inaccurate readings on the particle graph. To empty, press the red wand release button to remove the wand, hold the machine over a bin pointing downwards, and firmly push the red bin release button so the bin slides down and the base opens.
