Why won't my machine operate or charge?

Your machine won't operate or charge if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F). This is designed to protect both the motor and battery. Additionally, if a blockage is detected, the motor will pulse and the machine will not function until the blockage is cleared. (Pages 6, 8)
