What should I do if I get an E-5 error code?

Error E-5 indicates the security mode (WEP, WPA, etc.) does not match the current printer setting. Change your router's security to one of these supported types: WEP-64 bit, WEP-128 bit, WPA PSK (TKIP/AES), WPA2 PSK (TKIP/AES), or WPA3-SAE (AES). Also make sure you are connecting to the 2.4GHz band and using the correct password for that band. (Page 44)
