How do I set up Wi-Fi Direct Mode on the XP-7100?

Press the home icon, press the network icon, and select Wi-Fi Direct, then select Start Setup twice. Use your computer or wireless device to select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) displayed on the LCD screen and enter the password shown. Wi-Fi Direct Mode allows the product to act as a network access point for up to 4 devices without requiring a wireless router or access point. (Page 44-45)
