? What Causes This

Battery depletion to a critical but not fully dead state, usually due to discharge over long periods without recharge or inadequate initial charge at installation.

✓ How to Fix It

Replace with new batteries (4 x AA 1.5V alkaline) as soon as possible, preferably even before the alarm sounds for prolonged uptime safety and prevent potential controller loss of function during outages.
