High ambient temperature preventing proper cooling or malfunction of thermal regulation features such as ventilation.
✓ How to Fix It
Reduce equipment’s operational heat load. Ensure good air circulation around the charge controller (should be at least 6 inches clearance as per mounting recommendations; page 16). Confirm connections are tight and not causing undue power draw leading to heat generation issues.
