Brush-roll jam indicator — there is a blockage in the brush-roll area preventing proper operation.

? What Causes This

Debris, hair, string, or carpet fibers wrapped around the brush-roll or blockage in the nozzle.

Turn off the vacuum and unplug it.
Remove any blockages in the nozzle.
Remove string, carpet fibers, or hair wrapped around the brush-roll using a soft bristle toothbrush.
Reassemble and restart.
