Communication failure between the user interface (UI) and the main control board. This prevents the dishwasher from starting or completing cycles.

? What Causes This

Loose or disconnected wire connections between the UI and main control board, faulty user interface board, or malfunctioning main control board.

Turn off the power to the dishwasher.
Remove the inner door liner to access the UI and main control board.
Check and secure all wire connections between the UI and the main control board.
If connections are intact and the error persists, replace the user interface board or the main control board.
