How should I clean and maintain the Evenflo car seat base?

Do not immerse any part of the base in water or lubricate it. Wipe plastic and metal parts clean with mild soap and water and dry with a soft cloth. The seat pad can be machine washed in cold water on a delicate cycle and tumble dried for 10 to 15 minutes on low heat. Store the base in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
