How do I install the Evenflo Nurture car seat without the convenience base?

Rotate the handle to Position 4, then place the restraint in the vehicle with the carrier facing the rear. Route only the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt through the belt slots (do not route the shoulder belt through the slots). Push down on the bottom of the seat using your full weight while tightening the vehicle seat belt. Adjust the restraint so the level line is level with the ground, using a rolled towel under the front edge if needed for proper recline. The restraint must not move more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) side-to-side or front to back. (Pages 31-34)
